Silicone Rubber Cord for Packaging Machinery
Silicone rubber consumable parts such as pressure pads and gripper rubber cords are vital to the performance of many different types of packaging machinery. Specifically, high-speed Vertical Form Fill and Sealing (VFFS) machines. If the silicone rubber has any burn marks or appears worn out, the appearance of the seal will be affected.
Vertical form-fill-seal machines turn a roll of packaging film into a shelf-ready finished bag. These packaging machines start with a large roll of film, form it into a bag shape, fill the bag with product, and seal it.
The silicone rubber gripper cords used in this type of machine work in pairs and ensure the correct dragging of the heat-sealable film (usually in polypropylene, polyethylene or a mix of them).
